Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture convention of the southwest. In 2012 it spotlights Avatar Press and plays host to the Bleeding Cool Fan Awards.
Garth Ennis headlines the Avatar guest line up in addition to Jacen Burrows and David Lapham. That William Christensen guy will be around too and Lady Death creator Brian Pulido will be onsite.
The valley of the sun is the place to be this Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-27) with convention events and activities that span four days and run till 2AM each night.
Garth Ennis will lead the "Stitched" Movie Screening and Cast Reunion. Producer William Christensen and Film Editor Brian Pulido will join as well. Cast members participating will be announced as they confirm. That William Christensen guy above better get to work, the clock is ticking.
And for what its worth, the owner of Ash Ave Comics and Books in Tempe, AZ will be making his first exhibitor hall appearance at Phoenix Comicon. He's a great guy we've known for ten years and while we'd like to think it's cause our show is stellar and has gotten huge (anticipating 30,000+ attendees this year), we have a stronger feeling he's finally coming because his favorite writer of all time is one Mr. Garth Ennis.
