Here’s an intriguing Al Rio / Sean Shaw jam piece for the cover of the upcoming Jungle Fantasy #3. An accomplished artist whose work has appeared from numerous major publishers, Rio has worked on popular titles such as Gen 13, DV8, Star Wars, and Captain America. Rio has been a prolific cover artist at Avatar in recent years, having covered everything from Shi and Avengelyne to Threshold and Raw Media. Rio has also done some interior work at Avatar, notably on Coven: Spellcaster and on the recent launch of Jungle Fantasy with issue #1.
We’ve talked a bit about Shaw here on the site recently, and of course his most recently published work is his beautifully delineated story in Jungle Fantasy #2, which can be previewed here.
