As you can see by the year-long gap in the posts there, it’s been awhile since we’ve used the avatarpress.net domain actively — most of the original purpose for the site was quickly incorporated into the main site at avatarpress.com.
So, an experiment. There’s plenty of stories, discussion, news, rumors, commentary, etc. on Avatar Press comics and the creators we work with out there these days, so we’re going to try using this site to point out, address, and compliment that body of material where appropriate.
Of course, there’s a growing number of good blog and blog-like sites covering the comic scene out there, but not too many (any?) from the publishers themselves. This is sort of an experiment — we may find the format doesn’t work well for us or our visitors or what have you, but we’ll give it a try and just see what happens.
