Our section for April 2004 releases will be up soon, but in the meantime here’s a text-only look at what’s coming up from Avatar for April. The month brings another great lineup of books from some of the best creators in the field:
- Warren Ellis’ Strange Killings: Necromancer #1 — Combat Magician William Gravel is back courtesy of Warren Ellis and Mike Wolfer.
- Alan Moore’s Hypothetical Lizard Preview — Another critically acclaimed Alan Moore story comes to comics with gorgeous art by Lorenzo Lorente. Artwork and more information on this mini-series to be posted shortly.
- Nightjar #2 — Alan Moore and Bryan Talbot rocked fandom by revealing Nightjar, their creation from 23 years ago, in the pages of Yuggoth Cultures #1. Now the story Alan Moore outlined is continuing on from where he left it two decades ago, this time by his frequent collaborator, writer Antony Johnston. Artwork by rising star Max Fiumara of DC’s recent Thunder Agents project development.
- Hellina vs Pandora #2 — Doug Miers and Di Amorim continue to take the tension up a notch in the second part of this face-off.
