CRECY Graphic Novel – new Apparat GN by Warren Ellis

A highly trained but under equipped army invades another country in response to a posed threat. In August of the year 1346, modern warfare changed forever. This is the story of England’s greatest battle.

This 48 page graphic novel by the incomparable Warren Ellis will be released this June for a cover price of only $6.99! The newest addition to Ellis’ Apparat line of comics, CRECY will be his first brand-new series published in 2007 by Avatar Press. The cover art is by Felipe Massafera, and the book itself features the B&W art of Raulo Caceres.

For more information on CRECY follow this link. Also check out the CRECY related forums at The Engine (123), as well as the opening script Warren has posted at WarrenEllis.com. Newsarama also has a forum with art posted within.

In true Apparat tradition, CRECY offers readers fresh material that is reminiscent of what comics were like like before super heroes took the medium hostage. Check out this Apparat GN in June, and help support the creators that continue to push the limits of this great medium.
