I happened to notice recently that this wrap cover from Crossed #6 is the most-viewed piece on Avatar’s flickr page. It was interesting as the series unfolded to watch which cover imagery seemed to provoke the most reaction, and it wasn’t always the most gory stuff by any means. I had several discussions on this cover of people being tossed from an airplane, with many people insisting it was an extremely shocking image. As you can see, it’s not an explicit image at all, it’s simply a piece that captures some people’s fears particularly well — something that the upcoming Crossed: Family Values aims to do also.
