It’s time again to take an advance look at what Avatar’s got in store in the months ahead so you can let your local comic shop know that you want these upcoming items. Here’s the complete cover graphics and solicitation info for our July 2003 releases.
Avatar has become one of the leading independent publishers in comics in recent years, and July shows us several reasons why: We kick off the month with the launch of one of the biggest comic projects from any publisher this year, Frank Miller’s Robocop. We’ve talked alot about this series over the past several months, and it’s part of our Free Comic Book Day releases as well, but now you can see for yourself how cool this series is going to be.
The rest of the month maintains that level of excellence as well. Warren Ellis and Mike Wolfer continue Warren Ellis’ Strange Killings: Strong Medicine, Billy Tucci and Rafa Lopez launch Shi: Sempo, Doug Miers and Loren Hernandez launch Hellina: Seduction, and Threshold returns with work by Jeremy Rock, Juan Jose Ryp, and Doug Miers, and Gabriel Rearte.
