As you may have heard by now, Jason, Freddy, and Leatherface are returning
to comics in September
with three new mini-series from Avatar Press. For those of you who like to preorder
or reserve your upcoming comics from your local comic shop, most local retailers
will be able to accept preorders on the first issues of those series beginning
today. Of course, we hope most retailers will also be carrying these comics
on the stands for their walk-in customers when they come out in addition to
taking reserves or preorders, but given the brisk sellouts of the recent Friday
the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street,
and Texas Chainsaw Massacre comic
book Specials, it might be a good idea to to let your retailer know that you’ll
be wanting these comics whether you preorder or not. This will help retailers
gauge demand in their area so they can order from our distributor appropriately.
Feel free to repost this where appropriate to help make sure fans will be able
to find these comics in their local areas. Please support your local retailer
and Avatar by asking your comic shop to carry these comics. And of course, if
you can’t find Friday the 13th: Bloodbath, Nightmare on Elm Street: Paranoid,
and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Grind locally, it is also available
