Not even the week between Christmas and New Year’s can stop comic day, and the Avatar Press comics and other items listed below are available in comic shops worldwide beginning now, according to our distributor. Most retailers in the U.S. began making the week’s new comics available on Friday this week due to the holiday. Ask your local stores about these items. - BLACK SUMMER ALPHA – this has been live for awhile, but a new wave of copies should hit stores this week. Collects Black Summer #0 and #1 together for the low price of $2.99, with a great new cover by Juan Jose Ryp.

- DOKTOR SLEEPLESS #1 COLOR WRAP CVR – the art for this caused quite a stir when it was revealed in black and white a few months ago. It looks fantastic in color also, and artist Raulo Caceres has gone on to numerous other high-profile work at Avatar, including Crecy and Gravel.
- LADY DEATH PIRATE QUEEN PRISM FOIL ED – spooky Lady Death one-shot from earlier this year, story by Pulido and art by Wellington Alves, lately of Marvel’s Nova relaunch.
- LADY DEATH SACRILEGE #2 (OF 2) GHOSTLY ED – new cover by Daniel HDR on this one.
