  • Crécy – It is a violent book, and cruel, and vicious, and full to the brim with extremely bad language – and it is also completely engrossing. Ellis handles the character of the narrator wonderfully, making him both engaging and funny but never letting us forget that he’s just as much a ruthless bastard as the enemies he’s fighting against.
