Here’s a closer look at the cover of a book that caught quite a few people’s eye when it was mentioned in passing here recently. Fantasy/entertainment artist Matt Busch has had quite a high profile in these parts recently — his Robocop cover for Frank Miller’s Robocop / Stargate SG-1 FCBD edition has been featured prominently in promotions everywhere for that eagerly-anticipated event (coming this Saturday, May 3!), and his promo art for our Stargate SG-1 comic has also been receiving acclaim around the net over the past few weeks.
Busch has done a handful of other work with Avatar in recent years, including covers for The Ravening and the Pandora / Shotgun Mary crossover, and his creator-owned Alizarin’s Journal.
