Check out this Demonslayer: Lords of Night piece by Avatar newcomer Rafa Lopez.  A distinctive artist who successfully combines the loopingly graceful linework of the Todd McFarlane school, the monstrous imagination of the Wrightson/Vigil tradition, and an Adam Hughes-ian approach to figurework and volume, Rafa builds on these influences and others in his own unique, modern style.

An artist you'll be seeing more of at Avatar in the coming months, Rafa joins an Avatar Press lineup which, while well known for including some of the best writers in comics, also encompasses some of the best artists.  Like Rafa, an original and distinct style executed with a confident hand and excellence of technique is a hallmark of all of the regular artists we work with at Avatar, including creators such as Mike Wolfer, Jacen Burrows, Juan Jose Ryp, Sean Shaw, Matt Martin, Marat Mychaels, and others.
